PROCEDURE CODE

The Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) was established to provide
a standardized coding system for describing specific items and services provided in the delivery of healthcare. With TIMS 6, the procedure code information is set per HCPC.

The Result? You see major improvements in efficiency during Procedure Code set up. Furthermore, electronic work list, makes it much easier to assign inventory items and HCPC codes, and billing requirements are now easily handled by HCPC and insurance. Additional improvements were also made by simplifying the management of fee schedules.
