Begin by setting up pre-determined billing rules for each payer and product within TIMS to guide you through patient intake and trigger the qualifications, documentation, and authorizations needed to successfully get paid and avoid an audit.

With TIMS Inbound Document Routing, patient information from your referral source is received and stored digitally within the patient record—no paperwork needed. If documentation is missing at any point in the revenue cycle, the customer service representative (CSR) has the tools within TIMS Software to quickly generate and request the right forms. With the TIMS Document Management Dashboard, you and your CSRs can monitor responses and view alerts when documentation has been updated or is past-due and continue working the order.

Once the order is qualified, you’re ready to dispense the product, whether through mailing, drop ship, in-person, or delivery. Use the TIMS Delivery mobile application on a smartphone or tablet to process deliveries, collect patient signatures, take credit card payments onsite, and assist with routing.

TIMS A/R Worklists help you organize claim denials and aging A/R to work more efficiently. The configurable worklists can be set to create alerts when you don’t get paid, whether through a denial or lack of response from either the insurance company or patient. Filter outstanding A/R by submission date, due date, date of service, invoice date, and EOB date to easily find A/R that is approaching the deadline for timely filing. Isolate unpaid claims and assign them to team members. Appeals can then be handled quickly with easily generated appeal forms and supporting documents.
